I'm planning on building a 351C 2V primarily for street performance so I prefer an engine with more low end torque instead of something I'll have to wind to 8000 RPM. This is what I'm considering:block bored .030" with forged flat-top pistons pocket porting the heads with a 3 angle valve job 9.5-10:1 compression ratio Edelbrock Performer intake 780 cfm Holley carb Comp Cams 270H hydraulic cam (270 degrees duration, .519" lift, IC 106.0) 1 3/4" primary headers with Flowmaster mufflers and electronic exhaust cutouts The engine is going into a 1970 Mustang with a beefed up T-5 transmission. The car weighs approximately 3300 lbs...3500 with driver. I really don't have a clue so any advice would be helpful. Do you find this valuable?
