I've read some info that has me a bit concerned and in doubt. So here I am to get the stright scoop. i hope to include some pics to help.
Engine Casting number is D1AE 6015 AC
Exhaust manifold Casting number is D1ZE 9431 AA
After market Edelbrock Performer 400 intake manifoold

I just copied and pasted the websites onto my internet explorer. As far as getting them to show up on here with text, I am not sure. You can post pics and even videos on this site. If you scroll all the way to the top of this page, on the third line down you'll see "photos" and "video" in white letters with a blue background.
I owned a 77 LTD 2 door with a 400, and it was a gas sucking boat anchor. It had hardly any power. Supposedly though, you can build a real power house out of them. If I had of known that , I would have kept the car and built up the engine. It was loaded with everything and in great shape. I bought it from a high school friend who's grandpa bought it new. Anyway, that's the way it goes I guess. I now have a 351C installed in a 91 Ford Ranger. That is a quick little ride and a lot of fun to drive.
